    not sure where you're getting the War of The Worlds connection, It reminds me more of Mech Warrior or something like that.

    Looks good though, given the genre (and my general dislike of it).
    Some of the effects in the action scenes, like the way the tenticle broke off where it was being shot at etc. and the physical movement of it, were quite nice.

    I dunno I think the monster tingys reminded me of it?????
