just curious who owns or uses PA systems on any level and what set up you use?

I've tried loads of variations between Passive & Active and sometimes yer head gets so muddled with the 10 million connection possibilities that you forget the simplicity factor. In fact I dread turning our stage into the infamous "spaghetti junction" of wires and leads so we're upgrading from Dynacord Powered Desk/Passive Speakers to to the HK Audio Actor system (its active )

What do you folks use then?
