I have a really rubbish dvd rom drive in my pc which I have put up long enough with. Anyone got any recommendations for a very good DVD RW and a CD-RW?

The NEC ND35XX series are all very good drives, and only cost about €50 on komplett. The Pioneer 109 would also be very good, but a little more expensive.

yup - NEC 35XX are considered to be excellent.
