Mad fancy decorations - or something tasteful?

Lots more people are doing up the whole front of their houses
and even their gardens these days for Christmas. This seems to be an
American thing that has crept in over the last few years.

Do you put lights all over the place or just in the windows (traditional
Irish style) ?

Personally I intend to wrap a single strand of moth-eaten tinsel around
the top of the hedge in me front garden and be done with it!

tasteful, we dont even have a tree anymore. we have twigs with lights and a few choice decorations and everyone loves it

What is a twig with a light on it? Sounds like a fairy's wand!

Yeah, very simple -just tree. Neighbours all going nuts - I'm sure they think we are right dry c***s!!!

The neighbours on both sides have gone mental with decorations. I
think I'll put the halloween ones back out to F*ck them off

I'll shove glitter up me nose, sneeze on some old twine and pretend it's tinsel.

I feel like going up to those lit-up houses and ripping all that sh1te off them... skangersville!!! Bling gone electric!!
