Hmm..it seems people are wanting to buy me presents for some reason? However I cannot think of any new bands whose musical stylings I crave. That's where you come in.
You, yes YOU! Gimme suggestions for bands & CD's to get for Chrimblesnatch.
Here's a tiny slice of my current playlist so you know what wavelength I'm on...

    Alkaline Trio
    Death From Above 1979
    Electric Six
    Green Day
    Gorillaz
    Guano Apes
    Mad Capsule Markets
    Nine Inch Nails
    Papa Roach
    Rage Against The Machine
    Rammstein
    Queens Of The Stone Age
    Slipknot
    Static X

3500 song playlist just isn't enough.

Well there's a lot of MTV/Kerrang crap on that list. But going the the look of it yer just getting into Metal (RATM, StaticX etc). The following aren't really like what you've listed but are a good step into "proper" metal.
    Katatonia - Viva Emnptiness
Faith no More - Angel Dust
    Anathema - Alternative 4
Green Carnation - The Quiet Offspring
    The Crown - Deathrace King

Also for a more relaxed vibe:
    Porcupine Tree - In Absentia
    Pink Floyd - Animals
    Thine - In Therapy
    Alice in Chains - Unplugged
Red Sparowes - At the Soundless Dawn

    Godspeed You Black Emperor!

Tower Records has a couple of their albums. Best music I've heard this year (not that it's that new, but I hadn't heard of it before a few months ago).

    Arcturus

Everything else pales in comparison. Get yourself La Masquerade Infernale, which is honestly one of the greatest albums ever made. Wild, eclectic, crazy stuff.

BoobC: Yeah I know there's a lot of MTV/Kerrang "Stuff" but that's why I'm asking, I need to branch out! Anathema...hmm I've heard some of their stuff, it's good! Alice in Chains, maybe not. Thanks

melekalikimaka: Atari Teenage Riot (formerly Nintendo Teenage Riot?) Heard good stuff about them. AFI, how could I forget, thanks for the memory jog.

Goodshape: Godspeed you Black Emperor. Damn, if I saw this I'd buy it just for the title, I'll look out for it.

eljono: Have or had most of that list, but hey you seem to know my taste. Except Tool.

Karl Hungus: Good name, keep my eyes out.

Fajitas: Agree with you about Kings of Leon but not much else.

...I need to lie down now.

Oh, and I'm suprised nobody has recommended Dream Theater yet, so I'm recommending them now. Get yourself some Dream Theater.
