Hi, sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you could help me. I have tried searching the internet but I only got very complicated advice. The think is I have a compressed folder that I need to open. I tried clicking on it and I just got a load of funny letters but I think it is supposed to make sense. I was wondering if you could tell me how to un compress something. I looked at something called winzip on the internet but it said I had to pay after so many days or something? Could anyone help? thank you.

What is the end of the filename (Extension)? Is it .zip?
ZipCentral will decompress Zip files for free (Windows XP has the facility to compress and decompress files built-in..)
