    TRIUMPH STAG

Imagine ambling around ireland on the country roads on a perfect Spring day. You are in a classic open-top British sports car. The warm sunshine is on your face and the scent of the spring blossoms is in the air. The silky smooth 3 litre V8 burbles contentedly as you slow for the sweeping right hander and then crisply barks as you feed it a little and hasten along your merry way. Music to your ears! Share the dream and take a closer look at my Triumph Stag..........

    My Triumph Stag in Sunburst-red

A highly desirable collectable classic vehicle in original Sunburst-red finish. Very sporty performance and style. Convertible to hard or soft top - for summer style and comes complete with matching hard-top which simply clips in place for snug winter motoring,,,,,,,,ADs

I'm only messing, its a lovely looking car. I had one about 10 years ago for a short time. I bought it in Bournemouth and drove it home in the middle of summer the whole way up to the ferry and I know what your talking about. I was kicking myself for selling it as it was a lovely summer that year and I couldn't find another soft top as everone who had one was getting the best of the summer out of it. Ah well that's bussiness a profit had to be made.:D

................and then you realise you really should have bought a German sports car, a proper FULL convertible, with a tuneful and totally reliable 6 cylinder injection engine that lasts forever !!

    :D

    Just kidding too !

And THEN you realise that you really wanted an ITALIAN roadster because two webers are quite enough and you kinda like the dull paint job and oil leaks give it character... :D

But yes - that Stag is an absolute beauty. I'll keep an eye out for it in Wicklow come Springtime...

Always find peoples reactions odd when they see you driving around on a crisp winter day with the roof down...

People have no problem going out for a walk on a clear day, but see a convertable and think "Why has that loon got the top down - doesn't he know its winter??!!"

    Go figure!
