    Hey all.

Where do you think are the best places to go out in dublin?

sofar, this is what I think,

Il Mondo is pretty good but unless its a big night and a load of people are out, its really a bit too big.

    Q-bar is good craic

D-Two is pretty good and theirs always a good crowd their

Bondi Beach is allright, iv only been their once sofar at da ucd 1st year party

Tramco- iv only been their once, last night, it was the xmas party for DIT, and the women there were totally hot! duno what its like on a normal night tho.

Does any of ya know of any other good places to go?

If you're going to repost a thread minutes after I've moved it to a more relevant forum, at least try and edit the post so its UCD relevant...not just the title.

You'll probably get a better response in the College Play forum tbh, but i'll leave this here for now.

On topic: I'd agree with Grimes. Porterhouse and Bruxelles are good spots. Nice and relaxed with a good atmosphere. Also like The Longstone.

Bruxies is way too expensive. Fibbers is far better (especially on a thursday) if you wast a metal bar.

Too true. The fire escape is the only place to be!

I love MacTurcaills (excuse the spelling). Beside The Longstone. Someone got knocked down outside it one night... mad altogether!

I used to live right across from Fibbers... happy days. Another good spot is The Foggy Dew.

Anyone remember Handles? That place was by far the best in the city. They changed it to some eastern themed bar and the place has gone so far down. So many good nights wasted! Thanks Diagio!

I think that was me who got the smack of a car!!!!

I used to drink there when it was an early house and a dump. It's many a morning session I had which turned into all-day affairs... Jaysus, me liver is hurting just thinking about it.

Had a few nights in Doyles but they've all been disappointments! Well, except on the weekend! I remember the good old days when the Redbox was the place to go! When are they opening that place back up? And is fireworks ever gona open up again?

Oh and Bruxelles is lame! My prediction for the new up and coming spot to go out is the Turks Head! Fosters e3 every night and ALL DRINKS e3 on a wednesday!

Don't forget the Big Tree either! Full of Pats mingers..... I mean hotties, who are always up for it! Good DCU contingent there too! Only prob is that it costs a fortune to come back to the southside in a taxi after! And you don't wana get my started on taxi drivers! They really grind my gears!!!

Ah, and I almost forgot about Coppers!!! What a venue!

I was in Howl at the Moon on mount st. on friday night, hadnt been there since they revamped it. I thought it was cool planning on going back soon. Nice crowd, decent music (to my ears at least e.g. 80's, 90's).

Wouldnt touch renard, lillies, bondi or anything on the cafe en seine strip-euww horrible boring places!

Flannerys and coppers or the new coppers aka D2 are all good fun.Bobs in temple bar isnt too bad either.
Doyles and whelans are garunteed good nights out too.Actually anywhere on camden street is good except the village.

Generally i like going to places where anything goes and you'll meet nice friendly people.I reckon op your looking for a place with lotsa good looking women so id go to any of the fashion show events orgainised.Think I saw a fashion show xmas party organised for next week?however,id reccomend leaving your sense of individuality and humour at home that night,as generally everyone looks the same and you wont see them going mental ,doing fun crazy dance moves when a decent song comes on.

Also, you know its been a good night if ya end up in bucks or hisaldez(dunno howto spell it!) in temple bar.Legs is a no go zone though.

I'm in the thing but I never heard anything about that. I thought it was a bit strange that there wasn't something organised before Christmas.
Did you see a poster or something?

You can't put Renards and Bondi in the same category?! I wouldn't go near Bondi, D2, Coppers, Spirit etc. Basically anywhere there'd be a college night out.

d-two is brilliant, especially if your out with a crowd, bondi isnt bad either, why wouldnt you go 2 em?
