    Is it possible to route NTL cable modem to router?

    Often called a Broadband router, do not get an ADSL router, it won't work

    thx for the replies.the router is something called ST lab broadbannd router. Worked fine once i clicked "clone" mac address. I guess it clones my machine mac address?

    Yeah but you don't need to do this. The NTL modem links itself to what ever mac it finds when it boots so if you unplug your modem, attach router, replug modem it will be fine. Makes no difference really.
