Canon SD-400? Advice?

    I've been looking at this for a while.. it seems to have what I'm looking for:

    small and compact
    between 4 and 5 megapixels (what I'd be happy with)
    very fast burst capability
    a fairly basic point and shoot camera all around.

    but as far as reviews go, most people say its pic quality is slightly off and it has red-eye with flash pics.


    Basically, I'm just wondering if anyone has this camera or has seen it first hand. I'm wondering how good the pic quality actually is because I'd need something decent in that field.

    also, if anyone can point me in the right direction to another camera within it's price range that they feel might suit me or might offer better quality.. sorry, it's just that I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to cameras. :p

    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I take it you've looked here.
    Go to conclusion and samples and the end to see example of photos yourself.
    Best camera site on the net in my opition.
