What part of Templeogue does it stop in? The village/bridge (which by the way is in the least accesible part of Templeogue strangely enough) or the Kimmage/Terenure end or the Spawell end?

It goes down the N81, takes a left down Templeogue Bridge, then a right at the bottom and goes as far as the Old Mill Pub (Ballycragh, Oldbawn) and takes a right up towards the Square. Or at least it used to when I were a lad. Now it may go up the back Firhouse. Either way it takes the N81 down through Templeogue village, and turns left down Templeogue bridge.

The Kimmage/Terenure end and Spawell are served by the 54N which operates via route 54A to the KCR and then via Whitehall Road before rejoining route 54A to Tallaght.

It goes by the village. As in, it goes past the Morgue pub and up to the bridge. And it still follows the old 49 route, as in it goes straight up the Firhouse Road and doesn't waste time by going up to Woodstown (most pointless section of the route EVER!)
