Just posting in regards to a thread I saw here a while back.

Play.com had the Godfather collection on sale at €23 (I think), I ordered it yesterday along with a book. Today I went to check the order status to find no record of the order.

Play.com cancelled my order because they've raised the price of the box set, which forces me to reorder at the higher price. This is disgraceful.

That was probably my thread alerting of the bargain... recieved mine yesterday at the sale price (actually less than the sale price with a £5 voucher - £11.99).

This happen to anyone else?

€36.99 is still a good price.
But I would be pissed if they cancelled my order because of their price fvck up.

That sounds a bit harsh on Play's part, did you take a screen shot of your order? Write them a quick email, it can't do no harm.

I ordered a game off them about 6 weeks ago and they dropped the price on it by over €10 (£7-8) the following day. I emailed them about this and after a few emails they refunded me the difference. Might be worth a try.

was it the 5disc set - my brother ordered it and it is still "processing" according to Play.com...hope they deliver it..

Yep, I didn't get a confirmation email though - so if you did its probably gone through.

Its unlikely, but perhaps they changed the price so close to me ordering that the order never went through.
