I am looking for a Toshiba Qosmio laptop but they are hard to find and nearly all sites that have dem do not deliver to Ireland. The only sites that do have a very limited range, maybe 1 or 2 qosmio laptops. I am mainly interested in the Toshiba Qosmio F25 with 15.4" screen and 100Gb, but am open to suggestion! So if anyone knows of a site that delivers to Ireland and has a large range please ket me know.

    thanks

I have heard there is some problems with the 17" screen for Toshiba Qosimo and that they are very heavy, is this true and are they bad problems? would it be wiser to go for the 15.4" lighter laptop?

    Is that better?

    Cut the text talk !!!

As for the 17" Tosh Laptops yeah they are heavy and bulky. I have one but I use it as a desktop replacement so it does the job fine. (btw I assume this is the same for all 17" TFT Lappys).

gandalf, what model do you have, and do you the use it for gaming-would you rate the go 6600?
Playing around with the idea of getting one, beautiful looking machine and good build quality, apparently.(have a 6 month old xps gen 2 and its not aging well, creaky keyboard etc.:( )

    I have a P30-133

I have added another gig of memory and it runs Day of Defeat: Source like a dream which is based on the HL2 engine.

Not an expert on Graphics Chipsets but I decided to play it safe and go with a Radeon as per the chipset on this baby.

On different reviews for the toshiba qosimo, one said they had an average battery life of 1 and a half hours and the other review said 3 hours for the same, which one is correct?

Well I can only speak for mine which lasts around 1 hour. But its a desktop replacement really and not really designed for portable us. The 15.4" Unit should have a better battery life but I doubt it will hit 3hrs.
