    Hi,

    I've got a 1981 Mercedes that needs some body work. The car is worth very little in money terms but my wife and I just love it and don't want to see it in a scrapyard.

    I had it done about 5 years ago but was not very happy with the supplier - runs in the paint, no attention to detail etc.
    Can anyone recommend a good restorer - preferably Mercedes specialist. Not worried about location in Ireland but preferably in Leinster.

    There is a Mercedes specialist in Co. Kilkenny, but I'm not sure if he undertakes restorations.
    It might be worth a phone call - he may know of a good restorer.

    I believe his name is Ned Kelly (Motors), based in Castlecomer.

    Failing that get in touch with the Irish Mercedes Club (I believe their email address is listed in out Club's thread)
