Just having a look through ticketmaster and see that the femmes are playing in Febuary. I wait my whole life for them to play in Ireland and this is the fourth time ill get to see them in 3 years. Im smiling, cant wait till Febuary with belle and sebastian playing as well. I shall sleep well tonight.

Formed in Milwaukee in 1982, the Violent Femmes were the archetypal

Anyone see them over the past week? I'd say their Cork, Limerick and Galway shows were something.

I was at the Vicar Street one last night and it was brilliant, better than their gig in the Olympia two years ago. Venue was smokin' hot by the end.

I was at the gig in the Roisin Dubh in Galway. Unreal. One of the best gigs I've been to in the last 15 years. Dont think they realised how small it was (about 200 people). They played all the usuals as well as a few Irish songs I cant remember.
