Hi, I know this isn't really the right place to put thread, but I couldn't find the proper place to put it.
Basically I'm getting text messages that cost me money from the number : 57675. They say something like "Congrads to someone who won something. Your number in in the current draw."(ocviously the someone and the something are names and prizes, I think it's roughly €500 in credit which I doubt anyone actually wins). I want to unsubscribe from it, but I don't know how. I tried saying "unsub" or "unsibscribe me" and other various strings of words, and half words, but none of them worked. So does anyone know if anyone knows how to unsubscribe from it? I couldn't find any site on the net which dealt with thisannoyance ....

Contact the Data Protection Comissioner's Office with a complaint including details of the text spam. They 'theoretically' have the power to fine the offending marketing company.

Comreg are the people to get in touch with. I think it's comreg.ie.

SMS Spam - what to do? ; as per sticky in Mobiles/PDA (Which, BTW, is a more appropriate place for this thread..)
In short: Contact your phone co. and see if you get anywhere (Keep notes: messages received, costs, and your attempts to resolve the issue); after that: ComReg.
    Hope this helps.
