    I second this, every one of my friends who has gotten married just wanted money from me, because weddings are so expensive. Don't risk buying them something they might not like - they will get enough presents from other people. Definately give them money.

    Good 'ol Argos gift voucher never fails. Money gets spent, but the memory of whatever they buy with the voucher is longer lasting.
