Hear are some cards I made, very simple, using 3d Stickers, that "snow" sheet that you put under the Xmas tree, peel-off stickers, mulberry paper, and the snowflakes are from a packet of confetti.
The text sheet I made on the computer.

I'm in the process of doing some origami.
I am making a box in a dodecahedron shape using (obviously) 12 pentagons.
The pentagons are folded so that they each have 2 flaps and 2 slots and one side is just a fold.
One face of the dodec can be opened, sortof hinging upwards.
Inside there is a platform which is a pentagonal prysm in the same proportions as the faces of the overall structure.
I have built it in white paper already. It works well enough. Intent is to have a smaller box (which I havent made yet) sitting on the platform, and it will contain a piece of jewelry.

I went and got some coloured paper. got a packet of paper that has 5 colours - some red, some green, some orange, blue, and yellow.
So the next question is what colour to use? I want the platform inside to be white - so no worries there.
Red and green on the outside? Red green and orange? I really amn't sure....

also - the construction I am using works well on a small scale, but is slightly unstable on a larger scale. So I intend to tie the corners together. A small slit in each face where they meet at a vertex. 6 pieces of ribbon or narrow strips of paper will be used at these corners. Dont know how to tie them tho. No idea yet.... Anybody know any good patterns for tying 6 strands of something together? a braid is the obvious one, but I dont know how to braid with more than 3 strands. Anyone know a way of tying it into some sort of a tassle or something?
