    Hi ppl
    I am after getting a gfx card form my new system , Its a HIS X800GTO 256mb PCIe, now when i ordered it I didnt know it was a crossfire card , when i received it I saw an ATI badge on it saying Crossfire and MultiGpu ready and from what I read , It sounded like the Cards dont have to be the exact same to setup Crossfire , Just one of them needs to be Mutli-GPU . am I reading this right. Cause Im sure if i had Nvidia and was going SLi it would have to have 2 of the exact same cards for it to work


    Am I making any sense

    You need a crossfire enabled card like the one you're getting and a crossfire ready card like X800 and above, also you need a crossfire ready motherboard, e.g. one with a radeon xpress 200 chipset. then they are connected together using an external connector cable to one monitor.
