    I have one of these and was thinking of flogging it on buy and sell or ebay.

    Anyone got any ideas how much I'd get for it. It is the US version of the Ixus 500. I've 1 gb cf flash card (sandisk Ultra 2).

    I know it's against the rules on this board to put item up 'for sale'..so I just wondering how much this lot is worth.

    (Seems like a fair request to me)
    Could you specify: the camera's age (Warranty?), and condition. Also, the CF label (Or more details. Speed,etc.)

    bought from Amazon.com in September 2004. No idea about the warranty.

    Excellent condition (I'm ashamed to say I barely used it) .There is one tiny scratch on the viewfinder/lcd.

    im not trying to be funny here, but if you put it on ebay and auction it, you will generally get what it is worth, as the highest price that someone is willing to pay, is just that .... if you get my drift.

    yeah, I know that mate.
    Was going try buy and sell for it first as you'll get more and I won't have the hassle of posting it.

    might try it for €300 in the Buy&Sell.
    Hopefully the 1gb card will help it's sale.

    Im looking for a camera at the moment, id be interested in something like this. I may be interested but €300 is a bit steep for me. I can pick one up for just over €200.
