Just bought a few electricial appliances in the US (lamps) and now need transformers/convertors to use over here.
Anyone know where I could get some at a good price?

    I am in Mayo.
    Thanks,

    Hi

Try Peats.com , they did have some starting at about €19 (I think) also you can check Ebay.

I think they are caled Step Down adapters, transformers

I bought one on the plane coming back from the states. It's actually a "world" power converter. Think it was 10 sterling.

The 100w one that I need would be about 30euro [seems a bit steep]

The problem with Ebay is these things are usually a bit heavy, so the shipping is a much as the cost of the item!

I was wondering that, too. You'd have difficulty finding 110V bulbs here too in the future. If the fittings are different, get a new bulb holder fitted.
