Antec, no questions asked. I would say 100% of the people here will say the same :).

    Antec NEO480GB 480-Watt PSU

    Your price: €139.00

    www.komplett.ie

    10909 Antec Netzteil NeoPower 480-EC, 480 Watt

    €62,95

    Talk about rip-off Ireland!

where are you getting the 62.95 from? 140 for a 480watt modular psu seems decent enough to me

(and by decent i mean pretty much what i'd expect to pay for such a quality psu)

    Germany of course!

There are even other sites that offer it for €52, except they don't deliver to Ireland.

Anyone know any sites in the UK which offer PSU's for a good price?

    Well, ordered it from Germany.

    Endbetrag: EUR 88,45

That is including VAT, delivery costs AND €8,50 cost for COD.

Seeing that prices in Ireland are so ridiculous, I will give people the following links whereby ANY hardware can be found at the cheapest price:

    www.preistrend.de
    www.hardwareschotte.de

The links are in German, but it's so easy to navigate you should not have any problems. If anyone is having trouble, just give me a shout :)

Pity those sites don't have an English version, but my Mam's fluent German shall be called upon soon I reckon!

Just to check that I'm comparing like with like here:

    Komplett.ie is €310 for the AMD Athlon 64 3800+, 2.4ghz

    Preistrend is €278

    And hardwareschotte is €259.90

    Is this correct?

Whats the story with the German sites - it looks like they are showing a list of prices from other stores kinda like Dealtime.co.uk, is that right? If so, then I'd say its a bit more risky - what kind of service have you had Wolverine or anyone else?

Whats the delivery and VAT charges?

All the sites mentioned on those price web pages are completely legitimate and are 100% reliable. People living in Germany are in another world when it comes to postal reliability and service...

I suppose you wouldnt have much of an advantage buying from the preistrend site for that price, the hardwareschotte one looks pretty good though..

I've found the UK price comparison sites to be completely useless in comparison. Always listing items I never even searched for!

I was wondering about this site

    http://www1.hardwareschotte.de

Are prices inc or ex vat??? They seem VERY cheap compared to most places.

Including VAT gline, but remember VAT in Germany is at 16%. Irish VAT at 21% is no excuse for the extremely high prices though..
