Myself and my wife are off to Fiji for 6 days in mid March and are wondering what are the accomadation options.
On the Trainfindres broucher most hotels and resorts are €200 + a night.
    Are there cheaper options ?
I saw some reviews of the Tubakula Beach Bungalows which is a hostel and they were very good. Are the hostels as good quality as Aus and NZ.
Also where is the best place to stay in Fiji, for relaxing and a bit of water sports, aparently the Coral Coast is not grerat for swimming ?

I stayed at 'Seashell Cove' a small resort in the middle of nowhere on the Coral Coast. Had dorm accomodation but they had a range of options from tenting it to private bungalows.

Hostel/Dorm was NOT on a par with Oz/Nz, very basic, bed, fan, cold shower, toilets, but importantly clean.

Not the Ritz ... as they say themselves. Only down side is you are a bit cut off from the rest of the island but of course they can arrange tours etc for you.

    Prices in FJD$, http://www.seashellresort.com/rates.html
