Maidhc Dainin Ó Sé on TG4

    I just happened to flick over to TG4 there on a quick scan through the channels. I heard mention of 'Chicago' and stopped to see what it was about.

    Maidhc Dainin Ó Sé was on a tour of America visiting all the places mentioned in his book A Tig Ná Thit Orm (Sp?). It was a really well made program and very interesting for anyone who has visited Chicago or read the book for the Leaving Certificate.

    Good to see TG4 making some quality homemade programming. This is the first program in Irish that i have watched apart from the pigeon Irish of Hector. Didn't bother me one bit and i could even make out the bits that were left out of the subtitles.

    Hope this is on again because I missed part of the first half which is where he was in Chicago. The most interesting part for me.

    I had no idea this was on.
    I really enjoyed his book in Leaving Cert.

    I do hope they repeat it.
