    Well, ive sold my F505v reluctantly, and with the cash from that, and some of my spare cash, i can put together 300 Euro. I am looking for a DSLR style cam with good zoom 6X 8X 10X Optical etc.. Has anyone got somthing like this for sale? Know where theres one going etc? ive tried Connscameras,City Camers, And the camera exchange, but nothing suits for what i have to spend. Advice appriciated, should i go for a 300D ie save, or get somthing else.. I do like the Fujifilm FinePix S5500, saw the specs and it seems to suit, but for 300 would i get it?

    Get a proper DSLR rather than anything else. Why not buy online? I always use Connscameras to test what I want then buy elsewhere for a lot cheaper.

    I wouldnt like to see the dslr youre going to get for 300 quid... Unless canon 300d's have come down alot in price on the secondhand market...

    i don't think that you'll get even a secondhand DSLR for that price. the Fuji 5600 which has an image stabilisation system in the 10x optical zoom and i've seen it with a leather case, 256mb card and batteries and charger for €395. but it is a mile away from SLR
