    seem to be good value alright
    similar prices to alot of the german sites which are reputed to be the cheapest

    Use them all the time and have bought loads of stuff from cameras to mp3 players from the, never let me down and much cheaper than the high street.

    Highly recommended :)

    Hi Black, just in case you didn't know, the manual is in French, you'll need to send it to Japan to get it replaced with an English version one

    You can also get the manual online with a quick google as I did. I picked up a D50 yesterday in Dublin for just over 100 more, with 1GB high speed SD, 2 filter rings and the 70-300mm rather than 55-200mm, thread below

As far as Pixmania are concerned I was looking at more or less the same offer you're looking at, but to be honest I wasn't particularly impressed with how they answered questions I put to them. I've bought online plenty of times but am always wary if the support doesn't seem to be up to much, just my personal experience though.     Heh, the school principal I was talking to said the manual for the JVC he got wasn't in English so we found it online, printed it off and bound it (a 56 page pdf).

    Ta for the links to other threads. Was in Gunns today, will reply to your thread in a second, I'm leaning more and more towards buying there...

    I ordered a Cannon IXUS 750 off them a month ago and im only getting it on Monday (have the DHL tracking number).

    The site listed the camera as in stock when I bought it but as soon as the order had gone through I was advised there would be a 5 day delay... Grand. 5 days and they send the case and spare battery I ordered with it. No camera... Another few days they send the 1 Gb mem card IO had ordered as well. Still no camera.

    I spent ages ringing them but just spent 20-30 mins on hold each time. I sent an email to the irish customer care address and got no answer. I noticed that the silver version had come in to stock so I rang them first thing one morning and finally got through after about 20 mons on hold.

    Girl I was talking to was very helpfull and made sure my order was pushed through. Turns out it was about to be shipped anyway. Not sure what colour im actully getting monday but I dont care at this stage.

    All in all I cannt say much for their customer care. I still have an outstanding VAT refund with them that need to be sorted.
