Hi Have a Nikon D70. Need to buy new lens in the 18mm-105mm range, Something with a decent wide angle which can be used for portraits, landscapes etc. Under 500 Euro Any suggestions? S

Wait a couple of weeks if you can. There is a new lens on it's way, Nikon AF-S VR 18-200mm 3.5-5.6G IF-ED. Price should be somewhere around €650. If you really need a lens today then get the Nikon 50mm 1.8, costs around €150.

I take it you didn't get the D70 with the 18-70mm Dx lens thats comes with the kit.They're supposed to be good.
