Now that's the ticket....I especially like his double concept album, "Snow-where", that was later done on skates with a full orchestra ("Vanilla Ice on Ice"). It's no wonder he's bigger than Black Sabbath and Billy Ray Cyrus combined.

In fairness, what's right with them. I like The Bleeding, but the rest of their stuff is just repetitive, sound gory crap. Bands like suffocation, gorefest or demilich could pull it off but not Canibal Corpse.

Judging by those bands, I'd say your relatively new to metal. I didn't like the more brutal metal bands when I started listening to metal either. I agree with Doctor J and christophicus's reccomendation, Biomechanical might be to your taste. Some other bands that got me started into metal are:

    Children of Bodom (melodic)
    Annhilator (thrash)
    Metal Church (thrash)
    Slayer (just deadly)
    Boltthrower (death)

These days my favourites include Opeth, Dying Fetus, God Dethroned, Benediciton, Slayer, Obituary, Decapitated

Kyuss were one of the best bands in fu*kin history! The kings of stoner rock. They made some really crazy stuff. Try This music with liberal bong usage and it shuold be quite the experience. "Fu manchu", "Dozer", "Sleep" and "electric wizard" or maybe "atomic bitchwax". Proper stoner is f*ckin great although lost of the less known bands tend to be reall really satanic.

Any1 else out there big into stoner?

to BIGBADCON : Try AC DC, some of their stuff is good. Also a band called panic cell, vocalist often sounds close to identical to mr. anselmo from pantera.
