    some more historical weather bits for ye.

    The biggest and strongest ever typhoon was typhoon tip which formed in the western Pacific in October 1979

    The maximum winds at its peak were gusting to 190 miles per hour and its central pressure fell as low as 870 mb. If you were in an airea where air pressure was that low, your ears would hurt.

    Also worth mentioning, the little white dot beside the illustration of Typhoon tip is Cyclone Tracey, which devastated Darwin Austrailia on Christmas Eve, 1974. So it goes to show, even the smallest of cyclones can be devastating.,
