Hi. I'm looking to buy a camera and a printer from www.technikdirekt.de.
I was looking at this camera and printer. Can you tell me if you think they are any good.?
I know very little about digital cameras. They will only be for a beginner taking normal shots of people mainly.

I was also looking at buying them in a bundle. Can you tell me what you think is the best deal in terms of quality from all the links?

PS. Do technikdirekt.de deliver by courier or post?

    Thanks in advance.

OK, perhaps nobody knows anything about the cameras but could you answer my last question please.

Do technikdirekt.de deliver by courier or post?

    Cheers

Might help a bit, never used them tho. Seems you collect it from their local dispatch centre so it's not door to door delivery

It's a weird site alright but I'd say it's due to some translation issues.
    Very cheap though.

google for reviews of the camera models in question, and you should find lots.

I have found megapixel.net and dpreview.com to be very good for reviews of cameras i have bought. They may not have those specific models, but they should have plenty in the same category. They are full professional reviews and have lots and lots of detail, sample shots, and they will suggest similar alternatives too.

Amazon.co.uk and similar sites usually have user reviews on popular models.

i bought from technikdirect before and found them very good on price and service. Though I would pick my camera first, and then decide who to buy it from.

I bought from them before. They shipped by DHL. DHL lost my shipment (nice thing to do for ones 21st birthday present). Got the refund and found Amazon were quite a bit cheaper (including super fast delivery, a bag and 3 mini-dv tapes (it was a camcorder I was getting)).

As patrido said, pick the camera and then hunt for it. dpreview is a great help. You can pick a few cameras you're interested in and put them side by side to compare features and so on. Don't get your hopes up by the prices though they're in $ and often significantly less than you'll find them in Europe. Well worth spending some time there though.
