    Hi all,
    Can anyonetell me if a Linksys Wireless PC Card 802.11g is ok to use with a Dell inspiron 6000? I have Eircom broadband at home and want to connect his lappie to it....

    Off hand...I'd be pretty sure that it's compatible. :)
    Can you please specify which model WiFi card..as this tends to be helpful?

    given that it is a 802.11g card it's gonna be CardBus (PCMCIA) -> check in Device Manager (Start -> Run -> devmgmt.msc ) -> Expand(click on +) PCMCIA Adapters :: and check here that there is "CardBus" specified..

    and check that the card's driver is compatible with your install Operating System.
