Hey, a few years back I got seriously hurt in a car accident and I'm basically scared ****less of stepping onto a pitch for fear of doin meself more damage, but my interest level in the game hasn't dropped a bit and now I'd love to get into coaching. Can anyone give me any details or contacts for where coaching courses are held etc.. I'm coming at this with zero knowledge like

IRFU runs them - check your provincial website. They're expensive so it'd be better to get your club to sponsor you. And to do that, offer to help with coaching the junior side, particularly work on whatever position you used to play.

As far as I remember the level 1 course costs €55 (I didnt pay for it!) Very good basic introduction.
