I play poker quite a bit but every time i win i just seem to spend it on this that and everything.
My point is iv yet to start my bankroll however i intend to start one from this week just to know were i stand.
Should we all have a bankroll, or should we just leave that to the pros?
If we should does all winning go to your bankroll or just a %?
And last but the most important what if you go bust??!

Did we not have multiple bankroll threads already this week?

More intelligent people than me have said that a reasonable cash game bankroll is 30 times the table buy-in. So if you're playing the NL$100 hold'em tables on Party then you should have $3000 in your bankroll if you are taking it seriously and want to avoid a bad streak that will wipe out your bankroll.

If you are mostly playing STTs then 15-20 entry fees, $150+ if your playing mostly $10 STTs, should be enough.

If you lose several buy-ins then consider dropping down to lower limits to rebuild and reduce the chance of going broke.

All of the above can be ignored if you don't mind a bit of a gamble, and are happy to use your credit card to reload. A bankroll is good because it means you don't have to keep going back to your credit card when you lose and you keep all your poker money seperate from your real life money.

There's been a few bankroll threads in the last week or so, have a search or look back over the last few pages of the poker forum.
