I have seen Kegs of Guinness for sale on www.booze.ie for 200 euro.

Great idea - in fact I might get one for the christmas.

I am just wondering is this legal as I have never seen Kegs for sale before??

Anyone have any ideas or should I just contact booze.ie???

Can't imagine why it would be illegal.

You can buy kegs dfrom most pubs , I know quite a few who have done so !

Just ask the manager/owner nicely !

Not particularly cheap. It's 35 extra for hire of the tap and gas too.

You're talking nearly 2.70 a pint, before wastage. OK for the novelty of pulling a pint at Christmas/party I guess, though.

€200 for a keg is a rip off. they are bought from guinness for about €130....... On average you'll get abot 80 pints from it so in my opinion you're better off getting cans as it'll be cheaper and the beer will be better......

I usually get a minikeg of something or other at Christmas, usually for the novelty though. They're quite fun altogether.
