I'd like to reduce the amount of bread and milk as possible from my diet but am concerned that fibre and calcium will become deficient.

Does anyone have suggestions as to a healthy diet that eliminates bread and milk but is high in calcium and fibre ?

    For Solid Food.....

Calcium: Cheese has alot of calcium in it but also alot fat so id go for any low fat cheese.

Fibre: Cereals would be the best for fibre, wheetabix, porridge etc.

    For supplements....

Calicum: In any health shop should be calcium supplements in various different strenghts, all you have to do is choose which one you want :)

Fibre: you can usually get water soluble fibre drinks at health shops also and some come with added vitamins such as vitamin C.

Just my little contribution there but id say many posters here will give you other advice.

For calcium info, try looking at the list here:

Fibre rich foods include vegetables, especially leafy vegetables, fruits, cereals (esp. wholegrain cereals, and wholegrain rice), etc. Porridge is a good source of soluble and insoluble fibre (made with water of course, in your case).
