I've been using regseeker for a few weeks now and i'm a little worried that it may delete something important - what is the likelyhood of this happening? to be honest i'm not really sure why i would even want to clean my registery (other than cleaning things up and making the computer run faster)

Dunno about likelihood but RegSeeker always backsup reg before deleting so if there are any prob jsut restore the back up

As irlrobins posted just make sure Regseeker is setup to make backups of any registry settings before deletion. That way if you find you something doesn't work just doubleclick the reg file for the values to be returned to the registry.
