Anyone know who I can contact if I have a question about the N.I.D (box on outside of house) where telephone cables come in?who can I contact?
If I ring eircom, theyll want to send an engineer out for something I could do myself

If there's something wrong, you should report it in the usual way - they'll decide if it needs a house call.

Whether ther's a problem or not, if you go at it yourself you're breaking the T & C under which you get the service. It doesn't matter if you could it yourself.
