i don't know about you but tbh i'd just cancel the pre booked one in gamestop, if you try to sell it on you won't make you're money back at all you'll probably lose 20-50 euros minimum

irishchris, if I were you, I'd buy the extra console and then sell it on eBay, you could sell it for huge money considering the shortage of conoles for christmas, you're guaranteed to make a huge profit.

I don't understand, surely he's free to sell his goods on Boards at whatever price he feels like, it doesn't mean someone HAS to buy them. It's a hotly wanted console anyway, I'm sure in two weeks time he could put it up for €700 in the FS consoles forum and get it.

although i hate ticket touts, i think anyone who is willing to pay that much for a ticket should be allowed to, but the start price should be face value.

i believe the same should be applied here.

Irishchris isn't a charity, why shouldn't he make a few quid for himself if he decides to sell his preorder or the console itself, he's under no obligation to sell it at cost price; he's not a retailer.

There's a difference between this and tickets, tickets technically aren't your property to pass on, their a license to enter or something like that. Although boards.ie policy may not necessarily be different.

Personally I want an xbox 360, but I'm not gonna pay more than Microsoft are charging(well apart from that tenner 'being Irish' tax sigh), I'd rather wait it out.

think there;s not a problem with you selling the 360 for premium but you would be better to put it into the FS section. Also i had a thread in wanted consoles for someone willing to part with their pre-order.

As you are not currently in the FS section i would be willing to deal with u on PM and maybe come to some agreement on the console. To be honest...i would probably come and collect it off you to save courier costs if we could agree a price on it.

Let me know what u think but i am definitly interested in getting one so Pm me.
