hey everytime i try to download any files with Azureus it doesnt give any errors but nothing happens. ports are opened and tracker status says ok(dht) - the face thing says i am not connected to any peers, is it just the peers fault, my server or what?

How long are you waiting before you give up on the download?

My girlfriend always says the same thing as you, but she's just impatient!

ZoneAlarm and Azureus dont like each other... its very difficult to get high download speeds using both.

My advice is to dump ZoneAlarm and get Sygate instead. Also open a fairly high port... something above 50,000.

Also check that the Windows XP firewall is not on.

Slightly off topic but how do I open a higher port ?
I'm downloading with Zonealarm and windows firewall up and still getting upto 50Kb/s :D but i'll try that Sygate tonight and see

    Zonealarm AND Windows firewall?

IMHO I'd get rid of both and just use Sygate as Gandalf23 suggested (or just stick with Windows) but my days of installing Zonealarm first thing after ever fresh XP install are over.
