I was just wondering for people who have played in this, more so if you have paid the 270 rather than winning a ticket in the freeroll.

How do you know when you're good enough?

I think my live game is about 5/6 months old now

    I've played the 100e fitz twice and have a 1st and 3rd.

Oscar's tournament I've played about 10 times and cashed in 8 of them.

A couple of other smaller pub tounry cashes but nothing to write home about, so how do you know when your game is good enough for the 270? is it mostly the same players that play the 100e? should i just bite the bullet and pay the 270 or try get into it via stt's/free rolls?

played it 6 times without ever paying in for more than €70 and the top 18 usually get paid so you've a good chance of getting itm at least. i bubbled in july when there was 130 runners but won it in may when there was 107 standard is about the same as the monday night only a much bigger field and still my favourite tournament (i still couldn't justify buying in for the full 270 which is why i missed it last month)

It really depends on your personal financial situation. If you can afford to forgo the 230 odd you'd get for the ticket then I would recommend playing it, regardless of your length of time playing. Its a fantastic experience so just enjoy it!

Yeh I sold the first few tickets I won, but decided to have a go at it after getting a good run. BUBBLED the first tourney in 19th which did a bit for my confidence (sort of!). Next time I played it I split it for 4K each. Altogether I've played 8 and cashed in 6.

Only you can really know when your good enough. If you managed to win the Monday game I'd say your definitely good enough to play it. Best tourney aroung IMO. Great experience gained from it.

(I'll still never pay in though :) freeroll, freeroll.......)
