Since its over two years since i got a new machine i thought id post my new rig spec in here :)
Im delighted with this machine it gobbles up anything i throw at it including latest pc killers COD2,BF2,DOD-S,FEAR etc and runs then at full whack.
One question though if i may please, later on if needed can i add maybe a 4800 dual core to this motherboard?
I know i can add another 7800GTX in SLI but theres nothing out there that i need sli for yet.

    Asus A8N SLI So939 mobo
    AMD Athlon64 X2 Dual Processor 4200+ + So939
    Seagate Barracuda 250GB HD
    Maxtor 40GB HD
    PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-110D [CD 40x Rd, 40x Wr] [DVD 5x Rd, 5x Wr]
Asus DVD-E616P3 [CD 16x Rd] [DVD 2x Rd]
    Geforce 7800GTX PCIExpress 256MB
    2GB DDR
    Creative Soundblaster live sound card
    XBlade Tower Case

you cant "add" a 4800 to your 4200, but you can swap the 4200 for a 4800 :)

Maybe consider a monitor upgrade first though :p

    What commited said...

But a 4800+ will run grand on that motherboard. Is it the vanilla A8N or another version (deluxe, premium)?
    Either way, if it runs a 4200+ it'll run a 4800+.

/Edit: Just thinking on that, the premium version of that board shipped with supprt for x2's. Course you might just have updated the bios.
