Flat Heel(ish) Black Boots for Wide Feet

    Hi Folks,

Hope you might be able to help me with a slight problem I'm having. I'm looking for a pair of long black flatish heeled boots for general day to day wear. The problem is that my feet are quite wide, which means most of what's in the shops is too tight and uncomfortable.
I've tried Barrats, Arnotts, Schuh, Korky's, Zerep and tons more, between Henry St and Grafton Street. I know I could go and have a look in Heather's on the Quay's, but I'd like to try and get something fairly fashionable. There was a really nice pair in River Island, but they didn't have it in my size, 7-8. China Blue in Temple Bar had a really nice pair of Cat Boots, but while they were long enough, they simply weren't wide enough. My last ray of hope was in Barrat's who had a pair, but they weren't wide enough again.

I know there is a limited range from Dr. Martens available, but I just don't like the look of them too much, they aren't really elegant/cool enough.

Thanks for any help/advice you might be able to give!!

I think Evan's do shoes for the wider foot and also they do boots for the wider calves! Im not sure what kind exactly they have but Evans seem like a fashionable enough place don't they? :)

Evan's is a good place but at the moment i think you should try Vandalshoes. They come in a range of wide fitting shoe widths at van dal and half sizes too. They do boots and even handbags

    +1 for Clarks and Evans

Clarks have some lovely boots in at the moment too, if you're willing to pay about €130-ish
