Hi all, I have a dark green 2 door Minor for sale. The car hasn't been driven in about 30 years and we have had it in a closed shed up until recently.
It is a project car or restoration job but I don't think it'd need much work to get it running. It does have a small bit of rust on the wings but these are cheap and easy to replace.
I don't know the year but I would hazard a guess at 1960ish (the reg starts with fzh if that's any help). It's a lovely car that would definately appeal to an enthusiast. We also have a few spare bits and pieces lying around that would be thrown in. I'm looking for €1,150 ono.
I'll post pics later if anyone is interested.

Definitely interested. Where is the car? Can you post up some pics?

Sure, I'll post them when I get home, around 4/5. The car is near Nenagh in Co. Tipp.

Ok, I thought I had more pics, I can probably post more after the weekend. Here is an old picture of the car but it's dirty.

    Does it start?

No, it hasn't been used in years. I think the last time it was driven was 1997! And it had been in a garage for most of it's life before that. There's 50odd thousand miles on it.

You should try jumping the battery and see if it turns over.

Ya, the only problem is I'm not living at home and I'm home rarely. I'll see what I can do and I'll get back to you. Are you interested though?

I'm interested if we're talking a few bits of rust but mechanically sound and can be driven away. Not interested if chickens are going to be made homeless by removing the thing.
