Got my hands on this last night only played a small bit but basically the graphics seem better than a lot of recient games on the XBox I played the demo on the 360 and there does not seem to be much of a difference

IMO if you dont have a HD TV you wont see a whole lot of difference for the early games
I only got to play for about 15 minutes so far will know more later

I played the demo on the 360 and, like you said, didn't see much of a difference. One thing I did notice however was that the framerate on the 360 was quite awful. Jittery and ugly. The normal Xbox ran lovely and smooth. Given a choice between fancy graphical bits and pieces and a smooth framerate, I know which one I'd choose.

That's only a demo. The 360 reviews for Kong don't mention anything about a bad framerate, and they do say that the graphics are amazing.

I have played the game a good bit no masterpiece by any means but got to use kong in one of the rounds from what I can see I am not far off the city and will be using him more. The graphics are sharper than anything else i have (doom3, halo2 best picks from around 30 titles) One of the rounds you meet a TRex which is class.
I reckon get your hands on a HD TV before the 360 for now I was planning the 360 for post christmas sales but will get the TV first then look into it

was in smyths parnell st (dublin) today and there was an xbox and 360 next to each other with king kong demo's. there's no graphical difference, didn't notice any framerate difference, but the biggie for us was that the dino in the kong v dino fight thingy turned to a blue render half way through on the 360, loosing it's textures etc.

    For sweet Jeybus's sake, IT'S A DEMO

What part of Demo don't you people understand. The version in the shops on the DEMO machines is about 75% complete

The final version is out in three days. I really hope these demos are from a much, much earlier build, because those kinds of issues so close to release is just insane.
