A friend of mine won a ticket to the €350 Freeze out in Sligo in a pub satellite event in Swinford but the date on his ticket is Friday, Nov 25th with reg at 7pm but it seems to be on Sat with reg at 3pm...Presume Sat is the correct date? he showed me his ticket last night and was all set to take off work early on Friday and head off to Sligo. Don't think he has an online presence so would not be checking their site and though i have the then height of reapect for pokerevents, this is just not good enough.

Definitely the Saturday, reg at 3pm, starting at 4pm.

Friday night is a €150 freezeout.

    The above is correct.
Registration on Friday is 19.00 for the 150.
Coillte, the ticket your mate won came from Tony Rafter. Tony had exact information on the Sligo open festival, so I'm not sure how this situation arose.

Thanks for clearing that up. Ya it was tony and another lad who ran that tourney and just in case i gave impression to the contrary i had no problem with the tourney itself apart from the actual chips which were very confusing i.e. a €5 chip was actually worth €500 i think and the chip stacks were compiled from 3 different types of chip...v. confusing at start but then i didn't last too long with my 3QQQ's busted by 4 8888's so i didn't have time to get used to them:(

Are you heading up for the €150 freezeout Mick, I was thinking about it, it looks very tempting indeed. I forgot to get over to your tourney on tuesday but i will next Tuesday all things going well.

Have you a picture of Mrs Dim as well?

Of course she's put on a few pounds since this picture was taken. And she was doing a Carol Thatcher at the time [or is a Paula Radclife?]

I will be plying both events in Sligo. Badly need to make up for the blow up in the Limerick open.
