Any where i could pick up a CRT [in shops]
what price am i looking at here ? I prefer CRT - to LCD since i do alot of graphics and colours on the LCD are quite misleading. Unless i dish out close to 500 for a high def dell LCD, even then - bit dodge

TBH the best place to get a CRT at the moment is s/h. People are dumping them all over the place for no obvious reason. Probably pay 50-70 for one less than 18-24 months old.

Yeah, FS Computers is good, monitors come up a lot.

I bought an 18mth old Hansol 920D CRT from a guy for €60 on boards, with the remainder of a 3yr warranty left. It was in immaculate condition, and has a better picture than any entry level LCD. No one wants them anymore, which is great!

Incidently I found a perfect 17" trinitron CRT being dumped (in a bin) recently. I took it home, it is also perfect.
