Im just wondering what preferences do people have for Whiskey, myself I drink Hennessy. Any comments....

Southern Comfort isn't a whiskey. I mean, technically neither is Jack Daniels, but Southie is definitely a liqueur.

I'm partial to Bushmills.

In fact, I even considered starting a thread about this; at the weekend I was having a red lemonade and bushmills, and the red lemonade was flat so I decided to heat the mixture and the results were conclusively tasty. I think it shall be my tipple for this winter period!

I recently got a present of a 12 year old bottle of Glenfiddich. Is it any good I have tasted a few whiskies in the past and wasnt too pushed on them so should i give this a chance or just pass it on as a present to someone else

I got a bottle of that as a gift recently as well...

It's not bad for a Scotch... but I still think Irish tripple distilled whiskey is the finest in the world.

Middleton is beyond compare if you ask me... but it is VERY expensive.

Green Spot is a nice cheaper alternative as it is made in the same casks as Middleton... but not many places have it.

I'm locking this thread. It's the alcoholic equivalent of:
