My 1990 BMW 316 needs a servicing, I don't have the time or space to do this myself. Can anyone recommend a reputable machanic that they've dealt with , someone thats not going to rip me off. I'm living in Walkinstown, so southside area is ok.

Any idea's on cost's and reputable mechanics ???

    Many Thanks
    K

Try Kealy's in Donnybrook village across from the rugby ground. Thats where BMW dealers send you when you arrive into their showroom surrounded by m3's m5's and m6's in an e30 or similiar.

Try Alan in AC Car Sales off the South Circular Road - http://www.accarsales.com/

Has done a bit of work on my car, is recommended.

Do it yourself. It will cost about 90 e for basic at home service and with practice will take you an hour. bet the local dealer wants about 300e and did he do what he charged you for ??

I might give it a try if I have the time, have to get a service manual GSF first though.

I would also recommend DIY but here is another good BMW specialist
