Could any of you guys hazard a guess at what this 19 inch TFT LCD monitor may be worth 2nd hand and if it's any good? I can't seem to find anything about it on the net.

    Cheers,
    BigL

responce time is very very poor @ 25 ms so would be very bad for gaming

iv never heard of the brand name either

have you look on komplett.ie to see what lcd's new are going for these days

Yeah other brands are about 300. I'm not into gaming. I'd be more interested in overall image quality. It's just that I can get this one for 120 euro and was wondering is it a good deal.

I have heard of Hansol, they're a decent enough brand. 25ms is pretty poor though. At that speed, you will probably notice ghosting effects even when watching movies etc. It'd be fine for office work, web browsing etc.

25ms won't necessarily mean any ghosting at all. The manufacturers are all talking a load of cow **** when they quote respons times. There isn't even any standard for what you call a response time!

Some manufacturers will quote black to white, some will quote black to white and black again, some will quote gray to a different gray, some will do different colours to other different colours. The only real way to know if a monitor will ghost is to try and find a review of it somewhere.

Eg. my iiyama 17" 16ms response time, ghosts a little bit, only noticeable sometimes. my 26" samsung 16ms, not a trace of ghosting, totally smear free image.
