looking for a small, portable, gaming, high battery life laptop.

I don't ask much, do I?

Something around 10-12" screen
battery life 3+ hours
1GB Ram
40GB+ HDD
802.11g integrated
bluetooth integrated
10/100+ LAN
something with reasonable graphics

Been looking at Sony vaios... but ...

Any suggestions or thoughts ? I don't mention a price range as this is purely a wish at the moment... trying to see what's there ....

I have a VAIO S360 - it's exactly what you are looking for. Check ebay for them as newer models come with graphics cards that use system RAM.
The S360 was never available in Europe so you'd be using a US keyboard too, but it's worth it

commited - I want the laptop to be ultra portable. I have no problems playing games on a screen that size, and how you could call it "pointless" I don't understand.

karoma - yes, I understand I won't get 3 hours of battery life playing a game... but I want a reasonable life that general web browsing or usage (including wifi/bluetooth) would last 3 hours+ when I'm out and about. A 13.3 inch screen would be too big and a US keyboard would be awful.

I was hoping to clarify why VAIO's should be ruled out. And agreed: try to avoid imports as they may end up more trouble than their worth.
All use Intel graphics.. hmm.. not great for gaming (Nicest I could phrase it)

Fair points karoma.

An extended warranty (no, not a Dell "pay us 300 quid and we'll tell you to **** off" job) beyond 1 year is also something that is a must, in my opinion.

Provided it covers theft/damage..right..not just a standard manufacturer's warranty extension (Which are a waste of money.) - this is standard but it'll be kept in mind when money is a factor
